Pop in to St Giles church to learn more about its history by listening to one of our volunteer-led talks.

Drop in to St Giles church to listen to a short (approx. 30 minutes) historical talk by one of our knowledgeable volunteers.

Topics include an introduction to the Canons at Calke Priory and the Augustine orders they followed, as well as the early Medieval origins of the church and how it became what it is today.

Accessibility

There is a buggy service available to drop visitors off at bottom of Lime Avenue, which is approx. 50m from the church. There are steps leading into the churchyard and the path may be uneven. The nearest toilets are located in the garden. Assistance dogs welcome.
