Discover the Canons of Calke Priory and the Augustine orders they followed. Learn about their daily life in the Priory, including food and services. This talk will be available at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.

Uncover the history of St Giles Church, from its early medieval origins to the present day, looking at how it's appearance, architecture and methods of worship have changed through the centuries. This talk will be available at 11.45am, 1.15pm and 2.45pm.

Accessibility

The walk from the car park to St Giles Church is along gravel and tarmac paths, with a downward slope and one gradual upward slope along the way. A buggy service is available from the Ticket Office to the bottom of the Lime Avenue. From here, the church is approximately 50 metres away, with 6 steps into the churchyard.
