Join the team at cycle hire for a guided 1-2-1 lesson. Whether you’re completely new to riding a bike or want some guided tuition to help you get back in the saddle if you’ve not cycled in a while, a trained member of the team will support you to feel confident on a bike.
The sessions are also suitable for children aged 5+ who are riding for the first time, provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Suitable for ages 5+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Meet at Calke Explore Cycle Hub.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress for the weather, with no loose fabric that may get caught in the bike. Closed toe shoes with a good grip are preferable.
- Accessibility
Lessons are suitable for pedal bikes only. Teaching areas include Tramway Trail and overflow car park. Please discuss any special requirements with Cycle Hire team before booking.
- Other
Bikes and helmets are included at no extra cost, however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
