Adventure Cinema at Calke: The Gruffalo and Stick Man

Put your feet up and enjoy the adventures of the Gruffalo and Stick Man in the summer sun at Calke Abbey.

The show starts at 3pm but you can arrive from 2pm to enjoy a picnic on Calke's picturesque Pleasure Ground lawns, or purchase a range of hot and cold refreshments.

Meeting point

Park in the main car park and then it's a short walk down to the east lawn outside the house.

What to bring and wear

Bring something comfy to sit on.

Accessibility

Accessible toilet available near the seating area. Accessible parking is available 400m from the seating area, in the main car park. Stewards are on hand to direct you to these spaces. There is then a walk down to the seating area, down a steep, sloping path with no handrails.
