With map in-hand follow and find each activity trail station through the gardens, don’t forget to stop for your chocolate egg at the end!

  • Booking not needed

Step into a world of tradition and play, as we celebrate Easter Adventures at Hardwick!

With 10 activity stations to find, follow the barefoot trail before you leap into lively Maypole dances. Test your skill as you guide your ball safely down the chutes to mirror the age-old thrill of egg rolling.

For the bold and adventurous, our jousting tournament awaits, mount your trusty hobby horse and charge toward victory! Weave your way through the bunting maze and balance your egg in a spoon race, or adorn our Flowering Fool, with ribbons and blooms to mark the turning of the seasons.

Price:

£3.50 per child (for both members and non-members). A trail must be purchased for each participant to ensure all children will get their chocolate egg at the end.

What’s included?

Trail activities, bunny ears and a chocolate egg. Vegan and free-from chocolate eggs are available. Both eggs are made using Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa. Find out more at www.rainforest-alliance.org.

Last entry is at 4.15pm but visitors are welcome to enjoy the activities until closing time. If the Easter Tent is closed when you finish, please pick up your chocolate egg from Visitor Reception.
