Experience history through the ears of the Elizabethans, and be serenaded with the most beautiful music of the Elizabethan and Tudor era - songs that would have been enjoyed by Bess of Hardwick.

It’s a gentle, uplifting programme designed to engage, relax, and bring joy to all ages, with commentary that brings the era to life.

Jay Britton is a classically trained soprano with a passion for Tudor History. Her knowledge of the period allows her to perform with a sensitivity and understanding of the history surrounding the music, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to musical details.

Please meet outside the front door of the hall at 3.45pm to be seated for the concert at 4pm.

Accessibility

Please note that this event takes place on the third floor of the building with no lift facilities. 1x wheelchair is available on each floor of the Hall, but visitors will need to be able to climb the stairs. Accessible parking and toilets available along with a buggy service from visitor reception.
