A moderate guided walk exploring the vast history of the Longshaw Estate from the Bronze age to the 18th Century through its hidden archaeological features.

Discover Longshaw Estate though time by looking at some of the local archaeological features from the Bronze Age to the early 18th Century. Explore farming, industry and travel of the past with our knowledgeable guides.

This 4 miles walk has some sections of rough ground where there are no paths. There is one steep ascent and some areas may be muddy and uneven. We will stop at a number of features and we will include a stop for snacks and a drink. Please bring your own snacks and a drink.

The walk includes road crossings, some rough ground and moderate inclines.

Dogs on short, fixed leads are welcome but there may be stiles.
