Archaeology family walk
A moderate 1.7-mile walk aimed at young people to inspire and discover the history of the Longshaw, through the archaeological evidence of its past users including travellers, map makers, road builders, the soldiers of WW2.

Walk in the footsteps of a host of historic characters on this moderate circular walk. Along the route, our knowledgeable walk leader will explore hidden archaeological features and our volunteers will engage you in activities as you go.
This moderate walk along the orange walk follows an mostly even footpath with only a few mild ascents and rocky parts to the pathway. Well behaved Dogs on leads are welcome.
