From 21 November 2025 to 5 January 2026, discover the magical story of Pinocchio at The Children’s Country House at Sudbury.
Step inside the Hall and experience the classic tale as it unfolds through enchanting scenes, bringing the adventures of the much-loved wooden puppet to life. Sparkling Christmas trees will fill spaces with lots of festive spirit, while the gardens will be adorned with seasonal lights and the Museum filled with activities to get involved with.
On selected dates, enjoy special events such as Breakfast with Father Christmas and festive late-night openings.
This year’s celebration of Pinocchio continues our ‘Once Upon a Time’ theme, where classic stories are reimagined with a Children’s Country House twist. End your visit with a cozy visit to the cafe, complete with warm treats and hot chocolate.

Activities take place across the gardens and the whole property with some uneven terrain and steps along the route. There is lift access in the Museum and Cafe and the Stableyard is accessible with wheelchairs, walking aids and mobility scooters. We provide an electric vehicle transfer available to transport visitors from the car park to the property.
