Water Beastie Spotting - Nature Weekend | Water

Marvel at the beasties and creatures that dwell in our ponds, rivers and streams.

Children and their adults are welcome to meet with Shropshire Wildlife Trust and try their hand at dipping from their trays to catch, spot, and identify all creatures small and tiny.

No booking necessary, just turn up at the activity area at the front of the Mansion.

What to bring and wear

Please dress for the weather. Sturdy footwear is recommended as this takes place in the Deer Park.

Accessibility

This drop-in event takes place in the Deer Park. The nearest toilets are in the Brew House by the Mansion, on the other side of the river. Please note that the path to the Deer Park Pond is grassed and uneven, and is not suitable for wheelchairs. PMV Trampers are available to hire, please call 01743 708118 for more information.
