- Free event
Join National Trust archaeologists and volunteers as they carry out a fascinating geophysical survey of the hillfort on Kinver Edge. Using specialist equipment to detect what lies beneath the ground, this exciting investigation could reveal new clues about the history and layout of Kinver Edge Hillfort. There's plenty for younger explorers too, with a range of family-friendly activities throughout the day. Budding archaeologists can try their hand at sandpit excavations, get up close with artefact handling collections, and explore models of Iron Age roundhouses to imagine what life may have been like centuries ago.
