February Half Term 'Green Man' Spotting Trail

Awaken your inner explorer this February half term as you hunt for the hidden Green Men of Moseley Old Hall.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Step into a world of folklore and fresh beginnings this February half term with our Green Man trail at Moseley Old Hall.

The Green Man is a magical figure from ancient folklore - a friendly guardian of the forest, his face formed from leaves, vines and flowers. For centuries, he has appeared hidden in carvings and buildings as a reminder of our connection to the natural world and the moment when the woods begin to wake up for spring.

An enchanting challenge awaits in the gardens and woodland. Eight Green Men are hidden around the site, each waiting to be discovered. Use the picture clues to track them all down - but keep your eyes peeled, as one is a cheeky imposter added to test your powers of observation.

A gentle, family-friendly activity perfect for curious minds, outdoor adventurers and anyone who loves a bit of myth and mystery, this self-led trail is a lovely way to explore the grounds together during half term.

Free trail (50p donation appreciated). Normal admission costs apply, no booking required, please bring along a pencil to write on your trail sheet.
