An adult (18+) workshop aimed at beginners or first time felters with tutor Natalie Harris(Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies.

In the morning (10.30-12:00) the basics of what type of wool and needles are best for sculpting will be explained and then you will use some simple techniques to make the basic shape of your robin. We will break for lunch and an opportunity to get some fresh air in the grounds at 12.00.

We will then return at 13:00 to finish our robins, adding the details and a festive hat if you would like to.

All materials are provided. Lunch is not included, the the on-site tearoom will be open or you may bring your own.

Admission to Moseley Old Hall is also included and you are welcome to view the house and grounds during the lunch break and once the workshop has ended. Parking is free.

Note that as Moseley Old Hall is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel and you may have to negotiate some stairs.
