Join us at Moseley Old Hall for a series of pop-up talks led by one of our knowledgeable volunteers, celebrating Mother’s Day and the Women of Moseley Old Hall.
In this engaging 20-minute talk, you’ll meet Alice Whitgreave as she reflects on her long life at Moseley as wife, mother, widow and mistress of the estate. Discover the challenges she faced as a Roman Catholic during a time of religious uncertainty, the vital role she played in aiding Charles II following the Battle of Worcester, and how these dramatic events shaped the fortunes of her family.
Talks take place at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm and last approximately 20 minutes.
There is no additional charge to attend the talks; normal admission applies. Booking is not required, but spaces are limited.
