It’s 9 September 1651. The young King Charles II has just suffered a crushing defeat at the Battle of Worcester. On the run and hunted by Parliamentary forces, he arrives at Moseley Old Hall under the cover of darkness. But nearby, a band of Scottish soldiers has made camp…

Experience: • Living history displays of camp life, crafts & clothing • Drill demonstrations with musket, pike, and drum • Children’s drill & interactive activities • Stories of Charles II’s daring escape

These two days of immersive storytelling and historical re-enactment bring to life the 48 hours that shaped the future of the monarchy.
