Have you ever wanted to see the life of Henry VIII told as a romantic comedy or the tale of the Spanish Armada reimagined as a light operetta? Probably not. But that won't stop The Pantaloons retelling great moments from the country's past in a variety of surprising genres! Featuring live music, audience interaction and wild historical inaccuracy.

Bring a picnic and something to sit on.

Children aged three and under attend for free when accompanied by an adult.

Meeting point

Park in the main visitor car park, walk down the drive and you will be directed to the performance location.

What to bring and wear

Wrap up warm as the temperature drops rapidly in the evening. Please bring your own seating and picnic. A torch is advisable.

Accessibility

The route to the play's location is accessible with wheelchairs, and there is an accessible toilet nearby.

Other

Gates open at 6pm, and the performance starts at 7pm, so please arrive in plenty of time to get parked and seated. It is a 10 minute walk from the car park to the performance area. The performance goes ahead whatever the weather, unless the property needs to close in severe weather conditions.
