Drop-in wood crafting and paper making sessions
Try your hand at wood crafting and making handmade paper this summer.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Choose from a range of child-friendly crafts and bespoke woodwork pieces to make something unique to take home. New for this year, you can learn how to make paper! First, you'll make your very own mould and deckle and then use them to make some beautiful "nature paper" from book pulp and natural materials gathered from the grounds of Montacute House. You could also make your own 'wood spirit' to pop into your garden, or have a go at laser engraving.
Prices start at £5 per craft, paper making is £20 per person. Cash and card payments accepted, to be paid to the workshop leader.
These sessions are drop-in and first come first served.
Workshops will be hosted at the Stables Courtyard - whilst you're here, treat yourself to a coffee or refreshing ice cream from our new coffee pod.
