Heritage Open Day at Wellington Monument
A monumental tour - Visit Wellington Monument for free as part of Heritage Open Days
- Booking essential
- Free event
After a three year project, we are able to open Wellington Monument up to the public for the first time in 20 years. You can walk up the spiral staircase and experience the magnificent views from the top.
There is capacity for three people on each tour due to the limited space on the viewing platform. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
We like to complete the briefing a little earlier than your time slot if possible so that you have the full 30 minutes to explore the inside of the monument and take in the views from the very top. At the end, you are very welcome to ask any questions you might have.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your booking to ensure you can walk to the monument from the car park in time.
