Art comes to Sutton Hoo! Join artists from Quayside Artists from Woodbridge and the Ipswich Art Society as they bring Sutton Hoo's historic and natural wonders to life through a variety of creative media.

As part of the Big Draw® Festival, Sutton Hoo is delighted to welcome members of Quayside Artists from Woodbridge and the Ipswich Art Society to explore the site's historic and natural wonders through a range of art media. Artists from both groups will be working across the site and will be happy to discuss their art and inspiration with visitors while they create their artwork.

Most areas will be wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately due to bumpy terrain, not all areas will be suitable for wheelchairs.

After seeing the Visitor Welcome team for your admission, the two art societies will be set up around the site.
