Become a warrior and make a card Sutton Hoo helmet. Our arts and crafts volunteer team will be on hand to help you make the helmet of your dreams.
This activity is free with site admission. Book for the activity here (one ticket per helmet) and pay for admission on the day. Admission is free for National Trust members.

Most suitable for children aged 4 and above, must be supervised at all times.
- Meeting point
After seeing the Visitor Welcome team head across the courtyard past the ship sculpture. The arts and crafts gazebo will be located on the grass to the left at the end of the courtyard.
- What to bring and wear
Although the gazebo will provide some shelter, please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
- Accessibility
Wheelchair accessible. This is a quiet activity. The gazebo is an open space. Seated activity.
