Suffolk’s biggest and best loved outdoor theatre event, Theatre in the Forest returns to Sutton Hoo this summer for its big 25th anniversary! What better play to celebrate than with one of Shakespeare’s greatest comedies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream! It’s a story with something for everyone - from small children to Shakespeare fans. With fairies, magic, and whole lot of hilarious mischief, it makes for the most enchanting midsummer nights at Sutton Hoo.
Arrive from 5pm to enjoy a wander around the Sutton Hoo landscape. The King's River Café will be open until the show starts for hot and cold drinks and snacks. You won't need to worry about packing up a picnic- on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays we'll be joined by SmokeyDeez wood fired pizza and on Wednesdays and Fridays we'll be joined by the Gourmet Grill Masters. The gift shop will also be open before the show begins. During the interval, the King's River Café will re-open along with Puck's Tuck Hut (situated next to the seating area) which will be serving sweets, ice creams and hot chocolate.

Pathways to the venue are flat, with wheelchair access and seating and close-up parking/drop-off point to offer the shortest possible distance between your vehicle and the outdoor auditorium.
