Develop your warrior skills in an exciting 30-minute axe throwing session at Sutton Hoo, led by East Coast Adventures. Whether it's your first time or you're looking to refine your skills, you'll learn how to throw safely and accurately.
This activity is free with site admission. Book for the activity here (one ticket per participant) and pay for admission on the day. Admission is free for National Trust members. Participants must be aged 7+. East Coast Adventures will also be running archery workshops, return to our What's On page to book.

After seeing Visitor Welcome for your admission, head across the courtyard towards the play arena.
- What to bring and wear
This is an outdoor workshop, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring close-toed shoes (so not sandals or flip flops) and you will be asked to remove any large jewellery/earrings.
- Accessibility
The play arena is wheelchair accessible. The axe throwing zone is likely to be noisy, but quiet spaces are available nearby.
