Heritage Open Days at Polesden Lacey
On Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September, Polesden Lacey will throw open its doors for free as part of the national Heritage Open Days scheme. Meet the Polesden Lacey teams, enjoy live music and join in fun activities for all ages.

Visit Polesden Lacey for free all weekend and enjoy a range of fun activities. Relax to the sounds of live music on the South Lawn between 2pm and 4pm performed by The Polka Dots (Saturday) and The Candy Girls (Sunday). Ride the Woolsey Miniature Railway, running on both days from 10.30am to 4pm. Train rides are £2 per person with profits going back to Polesden Lacey.
Other highlights will include conservation demonstrations and Dress to Impress exhibition inside the house (exhibition runs 11am to 3.30pm). Children can let off steam in Crab Apple Orchard for the final weekend of Summer of Play. Or follow the new children's sensory trail around the grounds based on the classic story, We're Going on a Bear Hunt.
Chat to the gardeners and rangers who look after Polesden Lacey's outdoor spaces and meet local groups based in and around Mole Valley. Browse the pop-up second-hand bookshop and grab a bite to eat in the cafe. What will you do first?
