World Book Day weekend

We’re working in collaboration with the charity World Book Day® to help more children discover the life-long, life-changing habit of reading for fun.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Celebrate the fun of reading and take part in family friendly activities on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, 2-4pm. Make your own book, join in storytelling sessions and pen your chapter for the story writing reel. Free activities and there’s no booking required, just come along and enjoy a weekend filled with book themed fun!

If you'd like to donate children's books ahead of World Book Day Weekend, email riverwey@nationaltrust.org.uk and we'd love to help them find a new home.
