Fiery Tracery: Readings from Kipling, Diwali and Poetry
Celebrate Diwali at Bateman's with drop-in poetry readings from Rudyard Kipling's early works.

As part of Diwali celebrations at Bateman's, join us for a poetry reading exploring Rudyard Kipling's earlier poems and their connections to the Festival of Lights.
The poetry will be read by Anwesha Arya, an academic with the University of London, and Sagar Arya, a writer and researcher with a shared interest in literature, history and cultural heritage.
The poetry reading will last approximately 45 minutes, with seating provided. Please arrive in good time to secure a seat.
Following the reading, books by Anwesha and Sagar Arya will be available to purchase and have signed by the authors.
