Kipling Introductory Talks

Get a snapshot into the life of Rudyard Kipling before looking around his home.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Join a short introductory talk which gives visitors the opportunity to learn about Rudyard Kipling’s life, family and work before entering the house. If you’re new to Bateman’s or Kipling this is a great way to gain a quick understanding of who Rudyard Kipling was, why he was so important, what he wrote and why he loved Bateman’s so much. If you are already familiar with Kipling, this introductory tour will help set the house visit into context before you enter. 15-minute, volunteer led intro talks.
