Kipling Introductory Talks
Get a snapshot into the life of Rudyard Kipling before looking around his home.

Join a short introductory talk which gives visitors the opportunity to learn about Rudyard Kipling’s life, family and work before entering the house. If you’re new to Bateman’s or Kipling this is a great way to gain a quick understanding of who Rudyard Kipling was, why he was so important, what he wrote and why he loved Bateman’s so much. If you are already familiar with Kipling, this introductory tour will help set the house visit into context before you enter. 15-minute, volunteer led intro talks.
Monday-Friday from April-October at 11am, 12pm and 1pm.

Please meet outside the front of the House. In case of rain the talks will move to the Rolls Royce Garage.
