A talk about Shackleton's Endurance Expedition at Aberdulais
This talk, by motivational speaker Ian Govier, promises to be interesting, interactive and may even include a ukulele!
- Booking advisable
The Endurance Expedition (1914-1917) led by Ernest Shackleton is renowned for its incredible tale of survival after the ship became trapped in Antarctic ice, leading to a harrowing but ultimately triumphant journey for the crew.
Ian Govier is a well-practised motivational speaker, experienced researcher and one of Aberdulais' very own volunteer Heritage Tour Guides in his spare time.
Ian uses this famous story of survival to inspire us all. He may also play his ukulele and tell us about penguin meat!
This is a completely free event but we recommend you book a ticket (free of charge) to secure your spot.
