Experience the timeless sport of archery this summer as Blaidd Field Archery Wrexham returns to Chirk Castle and Garden.
Set against the backdrop of the historic castle grounds, this exciting hands-on activity offers visitors of all ages the chance to discover the thrill of archery. Whether you're a complete beginner or have tried it before, Blaidd Field Archery's friendly, experienced instructors will be on hand to guide you through the basics, help you develop your technique, and put your bow-and-arrow skills to the test.
Sessions take place in the meadow in front of the castle and cost £1 for five arrows - cash payments only please on the day.
Normal admission charges apply if you wish to visit the castle and garden (National Trust members and under 5s enter for free).

The basics
- Accessibility
There is a free minibus to take visitors from the car park up the steep hill to the castle if required. A Tramper is also available to hire from the Ticket Office - please enquire in advance.

Sessions take place on the meadow in front of the castle at the top of the hill.
