October Half Term at Chirk Castle
Join us this autumn October half term for a self-led family quest at Chirk Castle
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Adventure around the autumnal 5.5-acre gardens on a special quest to find a golden chair, inspired by Welsh folklore. Pick up a free activity sheet from the Ticket Office and take on the self-led challenges with the help of some fairy friends along the way. Steeped in 700 years of history, Chirk Castle is a magnificent 13th century medieval fortress that later became a family home for over 400 years. No half term visit would be complete without an exploration of the castle’s magnificent state rooms and Adam Tower. This activity is free to attend, but normal admission charges apply (National Trust members and under 5s enter for free).
