October Half Term quest at Chirk Castle
Join us this autumn October half term for a self-led family quest at Chirk Castle
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
This October half term, embark on a magical autumn adventure through 5.5 acres of garden on a special quest inspired by Welsh folklore. Pick up your free activity sheet from the Ticket Office and set off on a self-guided quest to help the castle fairies find their missing golden chair. Along the way look inside the charming fairy houses and see how many fairies you can spot at each checkpoint. Steeped in 700 years of history, Chirk Castle is a magnificent 13th century medieval fortress that later became a family home for over 400 years. No half term visit would be complete without an exploration of the castle’s magnificent state rooms and Adam Tower. This activity is free to attend, but normal admission charges apply (National Trust members and under 5s enter for free).
