The Great Dinefwr Poo Walk

Become a nature detective and discover which creatures have been visiting Dinefwr by investigating the clues they leave behind!

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Who has been wandering through Dinefwr after dark? Who lives in the woods, the fields and along the riverbanks? And what clues do they leave behind?

Join us for The Great Poo Walk, a family-friendly adventure where you'll become a wildlife detective and discover how animal tracks, droppings and other signs can reveal the secret lives of Dinefwr's creatures.

As you explore the beautiful parkland, you'll learn how to spot the evidence left by birds, mammals and other wildlife, uncovering fascinating facts about the animals that call Dinefwr home. You never know what you might find!

Part of our Birding with Branwen and Summer of Play programme, this guided walk is a chance to see the estate from a whole new perspective and discover that sometimes the most interesting stories are hidden in the things animals leave behind.

Guided family walk. Free with normal admission. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for exploring.

Come along and see if you can crack the case of Dinefwr's mysterious visitors!
