This summer, let your imagination take flight at Dinefwr. Inspired by our year-long Birding with Branwen programme, Newton House and the Oak Yard become places for creativity, adventure and play, where birds and nature spark imaginations of all ages.
Explore the Birds' Banquet in the Dining Room, bring feathered stories to life in the Woodland Theatre, or get hands-on creating your own clay talisman; Which bird best represents you? Add your own colourful creation to our growing Take Flight installation and step inside Pantri y Deryn | The Birds Pantry, a life-sized bird-themed dolls' house where you're the doll! Discover hidden corners, peek inside cupboards and imagine life from a bird's-eye view.
Outside, the fun continues in the Oak Yard. Build, climb and create with Tyre Tricks, make a splash with water play, or relax in the Black Raven sensory space.
Add your creativity to our collective drawing in the Old Kitchen, enjoy a quiet moment in the Ale Cellar, or simply bring a picnic and make yourself at home.
Activities inside Newton House and the Old Kitchen are included with normal admission, while the Oak Yard remains free for everyone to enjoy (normal car parking charges apply).
Whether you're building, making, performing or exploring, Dinefwr's Summer of Play is the perfect place to spend time together and create lasting memories.
