Wellbeing Walks: Follow in Our Footsteps

Led by members of the Dinefwr team, each walk follows a route that holds personal meaning for its guide – perhaps a favourite lunchtime wander, a place to pause, a wildlife encounter, or a path filled with memories.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Every person who spends time at Dinefwr experiences it differently. We each have our own favourite paths, quiet corners, special views and stories that connect us to this remarkable place. Inspired by John Abell's exhibition Dod yn Ôl at Fy Nghoed, these gentle wellbeing walks invite you to experience Dinefwr through someone else's eyes. Led by members of the Dinefwr team, each walk follows a route that holds personal meaning for its guide – perhaps a favourite lunchtime wander, a place to pause, a wildlife encounter, or a path filled with memories. As you walk together, you'll share stories, notice the landscape in new ways and discover how one place can mean something different to each of us. These walks aren't about expert knowledge; they're about connection, curiosity and the many ways we experience nature. No two walks will be the same, just as no two relationships with Dinefwr are the same. We hope you'll join us to slow down, look a little closer, and perhaps discover your own connection to this special place.
