Escape the Christmas rush and enjoy a slower pace of festive magic at Dyffryn Gardens this winter. 

Take a peaceful stroll through the grade I listed gardens and discover beautifully decorated Christmas trees, adding a touch of festive elegance to your winter wander.  

Capture special moments with family and friends along the way, before heading to the Games Hub for some friendly competition. Take your favourite Christmas family traditions outdoors with giant games that everyone can enjoy. 

Take the stress out of Christmas shopping and browse for thoughtful gifts at your own pace. Discover a pre-loved treasure in the second-hand bookshop or find something special for a loved one in the National Trust shop. After your retail fix, settle down in the café with a warming hot chocolate and a slice of cake. 

Whether you're making memories with loved ones or simply enjoying a moment of calm away from the festive hustle and bustle - discover the simple joys of Christmas at Dyffryn Gardens this holiday season.

The route is accessible and suitable for mobility aids and buggies, there’s no booking and this is a free event (normal admission applies, entry is free to National Trust members). We also welcome dogs (on leads) at Dyffryn Gardens so you can bring every member of your family along.

This is a mostly outdoor event so dress for the weather and don’t forget a jolly Christmas jumper (we also strongly encourage reindeer ears and Santa hats!).
