Arboretum tours at Dyffryn Gardens
Join an Arboretum tour with arborist Rory Ambrose and take in the glorious highlights of the autumn season.
- Booking advisable
- Admission applies
On Friday 24 October and Tuesday 4 November join Head Arborist, Rory for an in-depth tour of the Arboretum at its most colourful time of year.
Discover how we care for this special collection of trees, including some champion examples and trees gathered by Reginald Cory on his plant hunting missions in the early 20th Century. Rory will also be pointing out some of his favourites and explaining what makes them so special.
Tours last an hour and 30 minutes, from 11am-12.30pm and you'll be on the move most of the time.
This is a "pay what you feel" event, our suggested donation is £5 (normal admission also applies, admission is free to National Trust members). You can book your ticket or turn up on the day (we strongly suggest you book to avoid disappointment) and if you'd like to donate you can do so at the end of the tour via card or cash. All and any funds raised go towards the conservation of the Arboretum and gardens.
