This October half term and Halloween come and learn all about the creepy crawlies that live in the gardens with seven minibeast-themed activities including throw the spots on the ladybird, spin the snail shell for a dare, see like an insect (using insect goggles) and many more!
This free (normal admission applies), fun-filled, nature-based event will be running from Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November. There's no need to book.

Great for all kids, perfect for ages 3-11 years.
- Meeting point
Come to the Dyffryn Welcome Centre when you arrive and the friendly Welcome Team will let you know where to go.
- What to bring and wear
The trial is outdoors so dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes.
- Accessibility
There is an accessible route through the gardens which is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
