A celebration of autumn at Dyffryn Gardens, Into the Canopies
Relish the turning of the seasons this autumn with a series of events and installations specially designed to help you experience nature in new ways and from new perspectives.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Autumn is a much-loved time of year, arguably one of the most beautiful seasons as nature puts on a display of spectacular colour and texture. Autumn is such a celebration of nature, we wanted to honour this season with some celebrations at Dyffryn too.
Into the Canopies brings creativity and wellbeing into the forefront during the fall season, with acknowledgements of the amazing living collection housed within the gardens, focus on the mutli-sensory experience of a visit to Dyffryn, immersion in the beauty of autumn (through the gardens themselves and decorations in the indoor areas), and learning new, creative skills.
Events include autumnal wreath-making and felting workshops, a sensory reflection trial, a self-led autumnal walk, a forest bathing experience, gourd displays, behind the scenes garden tours, arboretum tours and points of view sculptures dotted through the gardens. Some of the events are free and some are ticketed. Find out more about these events in the upcoming events section.
