Apple Harvest Celebration at Erddig
Join us this autumn as we celebrate Erddig’s annual Apple Harvest Celebration with a host of activities across two weekends the whole family can enjoy.

The event will see a range of activities celebrating apples held across two weekends - 26 and 27 September and 3 and 4 October, 2026.
Wonder at the historic apple display that celebrates the more than 180 varieties grown at Erddig.
Head to the Stables to see the annual apple display, then visit the Stable Yard for an apple pick and mix and discover more of the varieties grown and harvested here.
There’ll be plenty for families to get involved with too. Try apple-themed games including hook an apple and the longest apple peel challenge, alongside traditional games such as darts, beanbag toss, noughts and crosses and dominoes.
In the Timber Yard, watch demonstrations from Rob the Bodger, browse seasonal produce and stop for chutney and jam tastings. You’ll also find a cider bar and a selection of autumn food, including pork and apple baps and apple crumble.
With apples filling the Stables, games to try and seasonal flavours throughout the yards, the Apple Harvest Celebration is a chance to experience one of Erddig’s best-loved autumn traditions and discover the orchard at harvest time.
The Apple Harvest Celebration is free to attend, but normal admission charges apply to visit Erddig. National Trust members and under 5s enter free. Our quieter times are before 11am and after 2pm. We recommend that dog walkers using the estate park at Felin Puleston or Sontley Road on event days.

Head to the Ticket Office to begin your visit. Activities take place across the Education Room courtyard, Midden Yard, Timber Yard, Stable Yard and Stables.
