On 19 and 20 July discover a range of activities themed around archaeology and wellbeing for everyone to enjoy.
With children's digs, dressing up and a trail exploring the archaeology and history of Powis, take part in creative activities for all the family.
History lovers can enjoy a tour which unpacks the medieval history of this Welsh castle and learn more about its fascinating features. (Please note that places for the tour are subject to availability on the day but no pre-booking is required).

Times
The basics
- Meeting point
No entry fee is required to take part but normal admission prices apply for visits to the castle and garden. The staff at the Welcome Cabin will direct you to the event location.
- What to bring and wear
Please check the weather forecast before visiting and dress appropriately.
- Accessibility
There is a gradual uphill slope from the car park to the castle. Please be aware that there may be steps within the castle tour.
- Other
Please note that at this time of year, dogs are only allowed in the courtyard. The archaeology event is also accessible with dogs although they cannot be brought along on the tours.
