As part of the International Make Music Day festival, we’re proud to showcase an inspiring line up of local musical talent:
• Porthywaen Silver Band – Established in 1934, this beloved local band brings together musicians of all ages, from beginners to experienced performers. Expect a stirring, brass-filled performance! • Côr Meibion Penybontfawr – Formed in 1951, this male voice choir has grown from humble beginnings to a 40-strong group known for powerful harmonies and heartfelt performances, both locally and abroad. • Vivace Choir – Born during lockdown in a churchyard in Llanfyllin, this mixed-voice choir now brings a rich and varied repertoire, from gospel to sea shanties, to audiences across the region.
Come along, soak up the music, and celebrate the magic of community and creativity on this special summer's day.
