Stackpole Estate’s community lantern procession returns! Join us to celebrate the emergence of spring with lanterns, sculptures, live music and tasty food. Places are limited on this evening event, so we advise you book your place early.
- Booking essential
We’re delighted to welcome back Stackpole Estate’s much-loved Community Lantern Procession on 31 January. Wrap up warm and join us as we light up the winter evening, celebrating the first signs of spring and the promise of lighter, longer days ahead.
This year’s procession will feature four brand-new illuminated sculptures created by Sand Palace Arts, adding extra sparkle and magic to the route. Enjoy live, toe-tapping tunes from The Swingin’ Nettles, a spectacular flower installation by Lara Bean, and a delicious choice of food and drink available to purchase from SJ’s Catering.
The beginning of February has long been a time to celebrate the emergence of spring – a moment to welcome back the light, reflect on the year gone by and set fresh intentions for the months ahead. Our lantern-lit celebration continues this tradition in a joyful, creative way.
Before the big night, why not make your experience even more special by joining a Lantern Making workshop with Sand Palace Arts? Create your own glowing lantern to carry in the procession – booking is essential for this. Reserve your place by clicking on the separate event listing called: Community lantern making workshop.
Please note that bookings for the Lantern Making workshop and the Community Lantern Procession are separate, and places for both are limited. To avoid disappointment, book your tickets early and get ready for a magical evening at Stackpole Estate.
