Take your pick from a choice of places to eat*, drink and shop in the heart of the Charlecote Park estate. Visit the dog-friendly Wood Yard Café or head to the Orangery Restaurant for light bites with a view across the cedar lawn, then pop to the shop for seasonal treats and gifts inspired by the places we look after.

*At least one of our three food and beverage outlets will be open each day.

Orangery Restaurant

You could start your day at Charlecote in the Orangery Restaurant with a breakfast bap and fresh coffee, or visit at lunchtime to enjoy a delicious hot meal. Take a seat and relax with views out on to the historic cedar lawn. Order from a selection of delicious, seasonal dishes or enjoy a cream tea with someone special. This light and bright building is the perfect spot for take away snacks, light bites, or to sit down with the family over a meal.

Wood Yard Café

The Wood Yard Café is the perfect stop for families and dog walkers, serving hot and cold meals and drinks, sandwiches and light snacks. There's plenty of outdoor seating with some covered benches available.

This fresh space gives a new lease of life to the historic buildings, offering views of Charlecote’s historical working courtyard while you enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake.

The Trailer

On busy days, you'll find the kiosk in the Stables Garden open, located next to the service courtyard, serving snacks and treats to go and hot drinks or soft scoop ice creams, depending on the season.

Thank you

Every cuppa or tasty treat you buy helps us to continue looking after places for everyone to enjoy.

Allergen information

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Always check when you visit

Visited before? We sometimes change our recipes to improve quality and flavour, including the ingredients. When you visit, please speak to one of our team to check the current allergen information for your favourite dish.

Shopping at Charlecote Park

There are two shops at Charlecote Park. The Servants' Hall shop is open daily, while Avenue Plants has seasonal opening hours. We recommend checking the opening times before you visit, or give the property a call on 01789 470277 if you'd like to reserve a product.

Servants' Hall shop

Walk through the Victorian Kitchen and across the corridor to find the shop filled with books, greetings cards, scented gifts, sweet treats and plenty of items for enjoying the great outdoors, from walking to gardening. The shop’s seasonal ranges are inspired by the special places we care for, with designs for all tastes.

There's a wide selection of pocket-money toys and games too; buy a kite or a bug-hunting kit and your little ones can play with it straight away.

The shop stocks award-winning Charlecote honey, handmade porcelain mugs from Cotswolds-based Cellar Ceramics and natural handmade soap from Leicester-based Mad about Nature.

Avenue Plants shop

If you're looking for a gift for the gardener in your life, we stock the entire National Trust gardening range in the plant centre next to the car park.

Browse here for shrubs and colourful perennials, all in peat-free compost.

Thank you

It is through your purchases and support that we are able to continue to care for nature, beauty and history for everyone, for ever.
