The Great Central Big Band will perform a range of styles including a selection of hits from the swing era, some classic and modern songs you're sure to recognise and some fun, Latin pieces to entice you to your feet. The concert is open air on Upton's south lawn. Bring a picnic and a blanket and get ready to sing along! - Meeting point
Enter via Visitor Reception and at the end of the long driveway, follow the directions to the gardens. The performance takes place on the south lawn at the back of the house.
- What to bring and wear
This is an open-air performance and will go ahead whatever the weather, unless it's unsafe to do so. Please dress for the weather and bring foldaway chairs and picnic blankets.
- Accessibility
There is level access to the main lawn. The buggy will be available to bring visitors down to the main property from the car park. Please ask the Visitor Welcome team if you wish to park in the disabled spaces close to the garden entrance.
- Other
Please note: Upton House and Gardens closes at 5pm and the grounds have to be cleared. The gates for the outdoor theatre will reopen from 5.30pm.
