Pottery Popup in the courtyard by Penny Varley
Penny returns to Upton to exhibit her pottery for sale in the courtyard by the shop. With over 20 years of experience she takes great pleasure in using inspiration from the flora and fauna to embellish her creations.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Penny has been a professional designer maker in clay for over 20 years and works from her garden studio in the village of Tysoe, just down the road from Upton House.
She regularly sources materials from her garden including plants, seed-heads and wood from the woodpile. These create excellent texture and form to her work.
Alongside garden ceramics that can sit outside all year round she creates a range of homeware and more decorative pieces for your home.
Keen to inspire others she also teaches adults and is a regular speaker to WI, Probus and art groups.
