A chance to see inside one of the oldest complete houses in Lacock, not normally open to the public. Discover its history from medieval open hall to Victorian coffee tavern and then home to a post-mistress at the centre of village life.

Please go to No 2 High Street, Lacock, next to the Red Lion pub. Book online to guarantee entry or on the day ask at the house if any tickets are available.
- Accessibility
There is a step on the ground floor from the dining room to the shower room and kitchen, otherwise the ground floor (including the bedroom) is on one level. There is a narrow stair case to the second floor.

Admission to number 2 High Street is free, but normal admission applies to the Abbey grounds and Fox Talbot museum. Event is free but booking is advised
