Behind the Scenes Tour

As part of Heritage Open Week, join our volunteers to bring Croome’s story to life through a free Behind the Scenes house tour.

Step behind closed doors to uncover centuries of change and explore hidden stories of servant life through a guided tour behind the scenes in Croome Court.

The tour is 45 minutes long. It will be led by two of our very knowledgeable house volunteers. The maximum number of people per tour is 15 excluding the guide.

All tours are subject the availability of volunteers to run them.

Accessibility

There is no step free access on this tour. The tour includes areas of uneven flooring and several flights of stairs.

Meeting point

Please sign up upon arrival at the main entrance of the house. Spaces are limited: the tour is available on a first come first served basis.

What to bring and wear

The tours take place inside the house but comfortable footwear and warm layers are strongly recommended.
