Summer Workshops: Anjali Dance Company
Join us to get dancing and watch 49 Trees, a new outdoor duet by Anjali Dance Company inspired by the felling of the Sycamore Gap Tree.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Get stuck in with two days of dancing and exciting premier performances including '49 Trees' on Tuesday 28th July and Thursday 30th July.
On Tuesday and Thursday at 1.30pm and 3.30pm, come see Anjali Dance Company perform a new outdoor duet, '49 Trees'. This work is inspired by the Sycamore Gap Tree, its felling and the powerful way it’s story continues to bring people together across the UK and beyond.
Led by a majority-collective of disabled and neurodivergent creatives, 49 Trees explores how the tree is no longer standing, yet its story lives on.
On Thursday only, come see Jigsaw Inclusive Dance perform at 12pm and 2.30pm too!
The performances will be accompanied by dance workshops and audience interaction which will be drop-in on a first come first served basis.
