Summer of Play: Explorer Week
Get ready for a week of adventure, with nature workshops and interactive explorer sessions in the park at Croome.

From Monday to Friday, you’ll find spotting sheets, information panels, and other resources and activities to teach you all you need to know about being a nature explorer at Croome.
You can also enjoy 5 days of explorer sessions with Croomes outdoor team and local wildlife and nature organisations: Monday 4 August: Butterfly and Moth nature quest – Join our outdoors team to take a closer look at some of the butterflies and moths that visit Croome and record what you see, think and feel as you explore.
Tuesday 5 August: Bees and Beekeeping Day – Join the team from Foragers Honey to find out more about these fascinating pollinators and see the inner workings of a beehive.
Wednesday 6 August: Dragonfly Day – Take part in a guided wander along the riverside and spot the dragonflies and damselflies dart across the water, with the chance to take observe larvae cases under the gazebo.
Thursday 7 August: Pond dipping – Worcestershire Wildlife Trust will be displaying observation trays under the gazebo, showcasing some of the critters that live in the river at Croome
Friday 8 August: Bird activities – A team from the RSPB will be onsite, talking all things birds and running some sterilised owl pellet dissection sessions.

The south lawn and tipi are accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Some of the activities involve walks in the park, which have some uneven, grassy surfaces.
