Summer of Play: Musical Chairs
Join us in the Salon of the house, where we'll be putting a National Trust twist on the classic game of musical chairs!
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Have you ever wondered why you sometimes see small spiky plants on chairs in old houses?
The plants are called teasles, and we place them on our more fragile chairs, encouraging people not to sit down, therefore protecting the chair against damage and long-term wear and tear.
Musical chairs will be taking place every day from 1pm - 2pm in the Salon of the house. Sessions will be ran on a first come, first serve basis, several games taking place over the hour.
