The garden at The Firs, are starting to bloom with blossom from our flowers and fruit trees. We are celebrating the arrival of Spring by immersing ourselves in the beauty of blossom.
We invite you to connect to the wonders of nature, to press pause on your day. Feel inspired by the gardens and create your own Haiku poem, lie beneath the blossoming trees and take in inspiration from nature.
The National Trust Blossom pin badges will be available from visitor reception.
All your visits, purchases in the second-hand bookshop, and donations help to support The Firs, so it can continue to be enjoyed by everyone, for ever.

To launch our month long celebration of blossom we are offering you a unique opportunity to take part in Tai Chi under the Blossoming trees.
An Audience with Corinne
Listen to cellist Corinne Frost playing cello music by British composers including Elgar. Corinne will also take music requests (classical or not) and might even create a sound portrait for you.
May half-term at The Firs
This half term at The Fir, tick off some 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾. Dotted around the garden there will be fun family activities to take part in.
