Nature or Nurture? How the natural landscape has shaped what people did here in the past” The landscape around us is full of clues about the past - echos of lives lived long ago. Sometimes they are objects, sometimes buildings and sometimes things that we think of as the "natural" environment. The archaeologist's skill to know how to find them read them and restore the lost stories.
Join National Trust Archaeologist Mark Newman for a walk around the grounds at East Riddlesden Hall, reading the two thousand year old history of the land around us.
